Service Description

While enhancing team retrospectives is crucial, the real value lies in extending this effort to the broader team-of-teams system. By achieving a systemic level of Kaizen, we pave the way for organisations to continually enhance their performance, fostering a culture of sustainable improvement. All the big transformation efforts of recent times (Agile/Data/Digital/etc.) would have been considerably more effective and sustainable if they had progressed in continuous, smaller steps as a concerted evolution. Our role is to assist you in crafting an operating model that effectively coordinates and manages improvement work across multiple teams. In practice, we identify opportune moments, such as when delivery work can synchronously pause, to reorganise teams and focus on Kaizen improvement work. A clear, disciplined focus on Kaizen achieves fundamental benefits: - The perennial constraints of the business progressively get resolved, one step at a time, - People develop initiative and leadership in their day-to-day roles because they can see how their ideas and Kaizen efforts go into effective application, - People across the organisations talk and build a common understanding of the constraints and opportunities for simplification and waste reduction, - Automating repetitive tasks can happen, freeing up more time for value-add work. Format of the service: - We review with you the intentional framework for improvements in place and its scope and effectiveness, - We would run some interviews with leadership and team members to appreciate the untapped potential for improvements, - We review existing efforts and visualisation and discuss how effective it has been, - We would then help you design a framework and its starting increments, - We help prepare and facilitate the initial sessions, including some education, - We coach and mentor the Kaizen Leads and Sponsors to maximise their learning from the practice. Upon booking the service, we discuss how we would organise it over time to accommodate the possibilities that you have for synchronised focus.

Cancellation Policy

This booking is to establish the basis for the engagement of interest. During this initial meeting, we will discuss your needs and the suitability of the engagement. We will then produce a quote to proceed with the engagement. We will also schedule the engagement based on availability. This is especially important for multi-day engagements (e.g., strategy off-site, change increment design, etc.) or those that must be on a specific day (e.g., presentations). Best to talk early to avoid disappointment.
