Business Strategy Off-Site
2-day off-site with a Leadership team to align on their Business Strategy and its deployment
Service Description
It is often shocking to ask leadership teams and mid-management what the key focuses of the business strategy are. It is not unusual to get vague and vastly disjointed answers. This indicates an organisation is not aligned with its directions, and considerable waste results from people pulling in different directions. Strategy is a key factor of organisational alignment. Off-sites are a great way to quickly bring a leadership team on the same page and align them to common directions. The fact that people engage, participate, contribute, and collaborate implicitly creates buy-in. The Business Strategy Off-sites are broader than the Change Strategy Off-sites and provide the overarching context for the strategy. Our approach results in a business strategy that accounts for and leverages the digital and technical perspectives and their possibilities. It also results in a balanced view of "outside-in" (market-driven) and "inside-out" (Change-driven) Strategies and, most importantly, defines a starting increment that makes it actionable straight away. The format of the service includes: - Preparation of the offsite with the team - establish the focus areas, - Review the need to balance business priorities and technical or operational necessities as well as "outside-in" and "inside-out", - Design of the Off-site using a mix of Agendashift, Hexi facilitation and maps, - Facilitation of the Off-site, - Post-workshop notes. - Note - the off-site may be arranged at the Client's premises or in a dedicated venue. We look forward to working with your existing logistical arrangements where possible. Deliverables: - Identification of the continuous change vectors, - xMatrix of the business strategy deployment, - Wardley Maps or Hexi Landscape of the Business. Please book an hour call to discuss your needs for such an off-site.
Cancellation Policy
This booking is to establish the basis for the engagement of interest. During this initial meeting, we will discuss your needs and the suitability of the engagement. We will then produce a quote to proceed with the engagement. We will also schedule the engagement based on availability. This is especially important for multi-day engagements (e.g., strategy off-site, change increment design, etc.) or those that must be on a specific day (e.g., presentations). Best to talk early to avoid disappointment.
