Bite-size Contextual Mini-Trainings

Short 2 to 3 Hrs training modules focused on a specific point to bring into application

Service Description

Sometimes, there isn't time for a large intake of new training knowledge, let alone the bandwidth to adopt changes from what the training brings. This can, therefore, result in quite a considerable waste. Bite-size training modules are small, targeted training sessions that focus on one or two precise points, aiming to offer conceptual clarification before the people participate in some activities that leverage the learning. Those modules are generally adapted to the circumstances from available materials and can be quickly assembled to your needs. Catalogue: We have a growing catalogue of such trainings and can derive them from the more mainstream curriculums that we run. We offer coverage in: - Systemic Leadership techniques such as setting up alliances or running effective check-ins, - Standard team practices such as running effective virtual meeting arch, - Continuous improvement (kaizen) techniques, - Complexity leadership (Cynefin), - Product ownership and product strategy techniques, - etc. Training Approach: The training maximises back-of-the-room training concepts, even for short training. Research has established that people learn best through social interaction and practice. For this reason, the training sessions use exercises in small breakout groups.  Please enquire about commissioning such a mini-training series. We do not run such training as part of public cohorts, so it is only available to professional clients.

Cancellation Policy

This booking is to establish the basis for the engagement of interest. During this initial meeting, we will discuss your needs and the suitability of the engagement. We will then produce a quote to proceed with the engagement. We will also schedule the engagement based on availability. This is especially important for multi-day engagements (e.g., strategy off-site, change increment design, etc.) or those that must be on a specific day (e.g., presentations). Best to talk early to avoid disappointment.
